Gayatri Udyog is an agri-food enterprise that has resulted from the wisdom of mothers.

Founded and managed by a group of mothers who are passionate about reviving people’s interest in forgotten traditional food and changing dietary preferences in favour of improved nutrition and hygiene.

The COVID 19 pandemic made us acutely conscious of the nutrition deficit that our children, youth, and the elderly suffer because of prevailing dietary choices.

We decided to act!
Our journey started by going back to our roots for proven food ingredients. Our core group is now trained to come up with creative recipes that will have market acceptability. Our association with mentors from the Development and Environment Futures Trust (DEFT) has given us the confidence to go ahead with the business planning and marketing strategy.
