Our WORK

Initiatives

DEFT’s Youth Camps and Multi-Stakeholder Knowledge Sharing Forums (virtual & physical) are designed to bring together diverse stakeholders and create shared understanding about transformative change through youth-led social entrepreneurship and sustainable community development initiatives.

Youth mobilization, mentorship, leadership training, exposure visits, peer-to-peer experience sharing, internships, financial & policy literacy, business communication, pitching opportunities – these are the critical ingredients in DEFT’s 3E approach (Engage-Enable-Equip) to transformation pilots in social entrepreneurship.

Our competencies in conducting Systematic Reviews, Field Surveys, Participatory Action Research, Case Studies contribute to producing actionable evidence that is at the heart of bridging science-policy-practice in relation to SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) issues in localized contexts.
We focus on local knowledge systems, applying our expertise on proper documentation and intellectual property (IP) protection, which ensures that we contribute to conservation and promotion of our cultural heritage.
